Coming from the guy who has likely never hunted from anything but a tree stand, much less in the cliffs of mountains...
Well, hell Hoytee Toytee... you should be on the freakin' pro circuit seeing as they only separating factor among the world's elite is the ability to judge distance correctly? Oh, your shooting's not up to snuff? Sit your *** on the couch then... You ARE that good? Tell us your non-screen name so we can follow you in the IBO World rankings... otherwise, shut the hell up. Or go back to ArcheryTalk... where that kind of nonsense and drivel is not only tolerated but expected.
It is impossible to defeat an ignorant man in argument. Your signature line is so ironically appropriate....lol
I have two Nikon's and they both were the only models at the time that would work through the mesh of my double-bull blinds. A couple of friends have Bushnell and Leupold and neither would work. This was several years ago and the technology may have improved with the other brands since.
Seriously? Are you trying to get banned, or just so full of yourself that you don't even realize your level of conceit?
I just got the Archer's Choice for $229.99 at Cabelas. It wasn't in their add, but they had it priced that way in the store. Some of the signage said something like $50. off Nikon Range Finders. I bought it because of the price, it is a nice range finder and will do the job. With that said, if money wasn't an issue, I really liked the quality of the Leupold RX800i or RX1000i, the retical is a red LED and looks like it would show up great in lower light situations.
Sounds like Hoytee-Toilety is getting a little mouthy on his 53rd Birthday today. He should also change his location from "over here" to "Wausau, WI", "Stevens Point, WI" Or somewhere inbetween the two. Oh yeah, Happy Birthday.
I use a range finder so I can be more confident in my shots. I shoot better when im confident. Sent from my SCH-R970 using Tapatalk 4 Beta
Greg, good luck on your upcoming hunt! I used to not use a rangefinder when I first started bowhunting and was fairly decent at judging yardages. BUT I broke down and bought one and never looked back. It is one of those "must haves" for bowhunting and I wouldn't leave home without it. I even use it when I know deer are within 20 yards...just a habit I guess.
Hmm ic, maybe its time to upgrade ha. Its not all that bad, I find it more annoying then anything. I mean or I guess could jus stay home, who needs that crap anyway?
Everyone hunts for different reasons, just like some dopes like to use gear that you don't. It's best to do what works for you and let others do what works for them.
