Looks like an average Illinois deer. They are behind every tree...guess this guy looked behind the right one.

Unbelievable! What a buck! I've only seen racks like that behind high fences...

Cabelas will go well into the 6 figures to get that mount in one of their stores!

Here is the update. This is starting to turn out to be a story of a friend, of a friend, of a friend, etc. From what I'm gathering this deer was killed in the southern part of the state and not in my county from what I'm told. It makes sense since I didn't reconize the young mans last name. I would not have made the post to begin with had I had this information. From the video I have no doubt that the deer is real, but I'm working on more details. I do have one still photo that is very crappy as it was a cell phone pic in the dark. I find it hard to believe a deer of this caliber was killed over a week ago and has remained to stay off the radar. Again, I apologize and would not have started this had I not believed I would have been able to get all the information. Lesson learned.

No worries how could you know. This is not directed at this story at all, but a few years ago the omish buck appeared on cell phones here again. It got so bad my cousin told me his buddy had ran over it and was still in the hospital. How that got mixed up i will never know. My uncle (and hunting partner) finally got a picture and I reciognized it right away and told him the real story.
