Zach Hester poses with the giant 6-pointer he shot on Nov. 24 in Red River Parish. The big buck's huge rack featured an inside spread of almost 24 inches redrivermoster6pt.jpg

I think this maybe the biggest 6pt i ever seen!! Green score is only 120inch but it is a 6pt lol

Yeah, a few public land sites here are 4 or 5 points on one side.

I wonder how they would treat something like that though, seeing that spread and body size I think it could be argued it was thought to be a legal deer.

I wouldn't know how to go about that, see him following a doe behind some thick stuff, can see the enormous spread but can't get a clear look at his rack before he steps into your only lane. Focus on the shot, not the rack....... walk up to the fallen warrior and realize he is illegal

No way I wouldn't automatically think "shooter" from a glimpse of him.

I saw a 2x2 mule deer this fall that looked like that. I had to look about 3 times just to be sure!

That's exactly what I was thinking when I saw that pic! lol He's big, but only in a crazy way. He's up there with the widest I've ever seen though.
