This guy had potential. Should be interesting to see what that right side turns into.

Going to check cams.... whaddya know 20 min later this guy comes through. Hopefully he makes daylight appearances and doesn't have concerns over my scent in a couple months, I need all the help I can get. Trail cams sure are fun, even if they're old, cheap, poor quality pic ones lol.

This old stealth cam now only takes completely white day pictures. I believe it has kicked the bucket and can be turned into a dummy cam. Whats the reason behind the pics all turning white, anyone know? It's all of them except for the rare couple that are normal. It's not the sun creating a glare I had 1500 pics of corn stocks blowing in the wind over the last week and at all times of the day the pics are white.

I have a bushnell that does the same thing. I think the sensor that determines daylight and dark malfunctions but heck what do I know.

Yeah they definitely are a unique looking and sounding bird. A pair has been returning to a wetland on our farm every year for maybe the last 5 years or so. Prior to that I didn't have a clue what one was. Was happy to finally get them on camera. Next year I'm gonna upgrade my cameras and hopefully get some better quality pics.
