I get along pretty well with my neighbors and we all talk about deer in the area. This one was never brought up besides by one neighbor that seen it in one of my fields by a sanctuary. No other trail cam photos and only spotted once on the hoof and was everything the picture shows. Guess I'll have to search hard for sheds and keep running cameras. Looks to me to have some years left in him yet, if he survived the hunting seasons then you have a shot at him being around next season.

I sure hope so. But you'd think between 1000 acres (not mine but neighbors and all combined) that he would be seen more at least on cameras. Super smart and nocturnal buck.

Idk if you can see it, but there is a black line going left and right about 8 foot above his back in the tree. That's the strap holding my ladder against the tree. He walked right under my stand 10:30 at night.

There's a reason he got that big. What a stud. Good luck getting after him.

Thank you all. I'm hoping so too.
I look at his body and can easily say 51/2+. No doubt. Has a body like a bull

He's real mature, I don't know that he has too many more years left. Good luck getting a chance at him.
