Im new this year to bowhunting and only have access to public land which is fine for me. Im having ALOT of problems navigating my way through some of the very thick woods withotu making a ton of noise. My climber on my back gets caught on branches, stepping on old twigs and anythign else you can think of. Any tips on getting into the thick stuff undetected? Thank you in advance.
Im going to do that in the off season. Im worried about the tacks though I dont want to lead others to my spots that I find
All you can do is slow down. If you think you're going slow enough go slower. Its not about not making any noise, its about not making any noise that will alert deer. I run and gun a lot, trimming is not an option, slowing down is key.
