    Hey all,

I am setting up my recurve to be a stingray hunting machine. ... that sounded cooler in my head. Anyway, I am getting my gear together, but before I go zooming around the flats, sticking rays, I have run across a conundrum. I have no idea how you stingray shooters actually GET them in the boat. I was thinking about either using one of those trash-grabbers to put them in a trashcan or using a gaff to get them in a container of some kind.. Any tips?

Just gaff them around the mouth area, and pull them in the boat. Steer clear of the flopping stinger, and figure out where to put him AFTER he is in the floor of the boat....lost tons of fish trying to work out where he will end up while he is still in the water, only to have it eventually pull off.

Good luck, the meat is good and they fight like a tank for their weight!
