getting ready to pull the trigger on 2 cameras

I am getting ready to buy 2 of the moultrie d-40 trail cams. I can both of them for $132 shipped to my door brand new. What do you guys think of this camera & the price? thanks

 

That's actually a very good price for two cameras, hope you enjoy them. IMO the D-40s are a pretty dependable camera that has a pretty good track record. My only knock on them would be most of the pics I have seen from them are a little grainy. The trigger time is not the fastest but I always say you can overcome slower trigger times by putting down an attractant or pointing them up or down a trail. Good luck with them and we'll be looking forward to your pictures.

what other cameras would be good & cheap? any of the cuddebacks?

 

The D40's are exacty what I would want to upgrade to. I like your deal. Is it a one time thing or can I get in on it. PM me if it's more than a one time thing.

 

I have 2 of the d40s. with a 1g card it will hold 930 high resolution pics, and 1700 something with a 2g card. My thread titled "some pics" is pictures from my d40. Some advice--- dont pull too hard on the tabs on the outer case, they tend to break off easily. Your deal sounds like a good one to me!
