Get down, high five/two (hoof) deer and talk about their big win of the day, then say "same time tomorrow?" If possible, I'll try and find something to throw away from me and see if it is enough to spook them away. Or, try and wait them out, this tactic rarely happens.
I carry a home made wire sling shot in my pack. Normally I try and pick up acorns or hickory nuts if I am evening hunting so I'll have a few in my pocket when needed. When pinned down I just sling a few nuts their way to scare them off.. Sometimes I shoot right at them....
Wait for the lighting to strike generating the 1.21 gigawatts needed to power the flux capacitor sending my stand back in time to before the deer walked in.
Wait them out, i would hate to bump the deer that I couldn't see...i would want him coming back the next night.
