Hello everyone, my name is mike, i am a new user and could use some help.

I have been into bowhunting ever since i was little and would always go shooting with my dad, until about 7 years ago when i messed myself up. The bow i was using was set up with a kisser button when i received it. One day while shooting i decided to take the kisser button off and ever since then i have not been able to shoot a bow period.

The problem is that whenever i have a bow in my hands without an arrow knocked i can draw the bow normally, but if their is an arrow knocked i cant make myself pull the string towards my face but rather a foot away from my face, and if i do get the string to my face i cant aim i just shoot as soon as it touches my cheek.

How can i get over this problem? I don't feel scared of the bow hurting me or anything and yet i cant get myself to actually aim normally. I would really love to get back into this amazing sport and any answers would be appreciated greatly, and thanks in advance! :)

    mike

Sounds like some extreme target panic. I've had It before as well, It's tough to get over If that's what you have. I'll let others chime In on this one on what to do or what they think the best thing Is for you.

    Best of luck!!

If this problem started with just removing the kisser, try putting one back on again.
