Can U of M's O-line handle the heat?

Highlights of South Carolina Football sophomore defensive end Jadeveon Clowney in the 2012 regular season. He finished the regular season with 50 tackles (21.5 tackles for loss, highest in the country) and 13 sacks (single season school record, tied for first in the nation). He also added 5 QB hurries and 2 forced fumbles. His 2012 season accolades include: Hendricks Award winner for top defensive end, SEC Defensive Player of the Year, Consensus All-American as of Dec. 11, 2012 (AFCA, Walter Camp, AP), First Team All-SEC, finalist for the Nagurski, Lombardi, and Bednarik Awards.

He's going up against an All American in Lewan, I think the clowney vs Lewan battle will be better than the game.

Clowney didn't do crap against LSU. And he went up against a true freshman.

    Just sayin'

True freshman Adolphus Washington abused Lewan in THE GAME.

    Just sayin' ;)

It is all about matchups. The big question is how will these two match up to one another.

I hope Blue wins and Lewan gets abused, I want to see Devin and Denard run for their lives... Would make an interesting game.

Clowneys pursuit could help Denard run for a lot of yards though.

    No.

Clowney and Xavier Nixon had a pretty decent battle when UF played USCe. Clowney won the majority of the time, but as the game wore on and Florida was winning by 30+ points, Clowney appeared to give up.

He's probably the most physically gifted player in all of college football right now. He probably would have been a top 15 pick last year, and a first round pick coming out of high school.

    He scares me.

Don't hate Germ... If UofM had better athletes people would want to pay them as well. ;)
