Doesn't seem too extreme to me. Not sure how I feel about guns in bars , but that's why its up to the bar owner.

I like it. Im glad KS changed the law to allow CC even if there is a gun buster in the window (as long as its not a government building), not a whole lot to worry about while carrying.

Ummmm, You may want to check twice on that mister! I think you will have your *** in a sling if you get caught.

The new bill HB 2052 "will have no effect on the buildings of private businesses – even if the
building is one that is state-owned or municipally-owned and leased by a private business. Any
building that is held by the state or a municipality for revenue bond financing is likewise exempt
from coverage as a “state or municipal building.”

I don't want to know how many times you have carried in a posted building since that bill went into effect either. LOL!

If it's a privately owned building, it's legal. I don't have any examples from around here, because I haven't seen any gun busters on doors yet (besides every building on campus).

If you say so. The language in that bill that I quoted says otherwise. That bill essentially isn't applicable to privately owned property in general.

I specifically asked the CC instructor, and that's what he told me. I'm part of defensivecarry.com, and they say the same thing in the KS section, as well as ksccw.com.

Not to get off topic but if you can provide a source I would love to look at that.

Is this what your instructor was talking about?

K.S.A. 75-7c10 as amended states that a Permit/License Holder who goes by an AG approved sign,
stating no firearms, is not a crime but can be asked to leave and if the person does not leave when
asked, they can be charged with trespassing.

This is what I found after just a little skimming on google. I'll try and find a more "official" source.

The instructor told me the sign doesn't mean anything anymore, UNLESS they find out somehow and ask you to leave. If you refuse, you can be charged with criminal trespassing, but nothing gun related.

    Edit.... Yep, that's it

It's the same here is Missouri. All they can do is ask you to leave. If you refuse they can press charges for trespassing. Something like $100 fine. Simplest way to handle it would to just leave if asked and take your business somewhere else.
