So i live in indiana, but I'm going to Georgia in september for 3 days to hunt hog, deer and bear. Any of y'all from that area with advice on where to go and how best to hunt hog and bear in the area? I'm going to the atl area to visit family for a day then the hunt begins. I got a nice 8pt in the Cahutta last year with a rifle. Key was hunting a long way from everyone else. There are more bear and hogs there than deer. Good luck.
I'll attest to that go deeper then a normal hunter would and get there earlier then a normal hunter would. I like archery only WMA's the animals aren't hearing gun fire. Up north I've seen tons of bears around the Fulton areas and stuff. For hogs you'd better go down south. Oaky Woods has tons but archery season ends on that WMA the day before gun season. I don't see any bears out there. Hainesville Georgia tons also Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
