Does anyone here geocache? I'm thinking that this might be a good way to learn the land, get the kids learning about the outdoors (benefit of hone schooling), and help me to be in good shape/ practice spotting for next season.

No, when I got my 62s I had discovered this treasure hunting hobby and think it may be fun for someone to try. Not my cup a tea. Good Luck with it though... a lot of people like it. You just might like it to.

I do, My garmin came pre-loaded with a geocache app. A lot of fun when you know how to read and use coordinates

It can be fun, especially if you involve your kids.

Just try it out. You wouldn't think its fun but I promise- it's addicting. It's how I spend a lot of my time in the offseason

Found one little message in a bottle type this in a spot we were using to dial in my buddies 30-06 scope. Is that what y'all are talking about. We wrote out names in it and a small message. Out it back.
