I always forget at least one thing when going on a hunt... I've even forgot my release and broadheads before but I luckily had extras in the bag. I was just trying to put together a checklist for before I leave the house and couldn't even think if I was forgetting things on that.... So to be sure, what are some of the things that you guys bring on every hunt?

Not much, man. Lemme think it over really quick...got it.

Arrows, I always put my broadheads back on after I get done practicing so I never forget broadheads.
Thermacell! I'd rather have this in my stand than anything else.
A single cigarette incase there's a victory that afternoon or morning, and a lighter to hit it and check the wind.
    Flashlight.
    Grunt tube.

    Yeah, I think that's it.

Up on top the Resources tab has a drop down menu and there is a bowhunting checklist on there that may help.

I don't think I knew that either but I know we had a big thread about this exact same thing a few weeks back. Sure you can find it if you do a little searching!

You know, I purposely left off my bow as a sort of joke.

    I completely forgot my release!

Everyones different. What I do is to put my important stuff in a bag. I call it my ditty bag. To be prepared, it takes alot of stuff. I take my ditty bag, binocs, and harness every time I hunt.:moose:

I keep a running list of stuff I need on an app on my phone.
I have a list if I'm hunting. Camping on site and or working the property. Ie batteries, corn etc.
I also have a check list for what I want "out of the truck" meaning, when I get out at 5am to walk to the stand I want what on and what in my back pack.
Just work on your own list as you think of the items but yes I would take my bow and release:)
I have nightmares about getting to the lease after driving 4 hours and realizing I forgot my bow:(

Flashlight, knife, rope, phone, tags, grunt tubes, bleat cans, water, hook made from a wire hanger, pack rack, scents, xtra gloves, xtra socks, toilet paper, bow/arrows/harness/release (obviously). Most of the normal stuff I use I have in a fanny pack, the rest are in my backpack. Rarely have to dive in the backpack, but have had to on occasions, so I still take it.

This is my list for tomorrow

    Bow, Arrows, broadheads, release
    Tag/license
    Phone/Camera
Extra clothes/scent free clothing in bag
    Safety harness
    Rattling Antlers
    Grunt call
    Doe Estrous

    Gloves

Bringing bow hanger and smaller hangers for ladder stand tomorrow. Going to get in early and hang those on tree in dark. Hopefully not too loud.

We always bring firestarter or something to light a fire in a shack we built to warm up in. We have a wood heater that we always put water on so if we get a deer it is easy to clean up and clean knives/saw.
