Well at least this time there going down. We were close to $3.00 a gallon about a month ago.... dropping slowly!

    $2.29 as of this morning.

This is a great site to see what your prices are doing, wether its time to fill up because the prices are going up or just put in a little because it going to be even cheaper if a few days!

I'm glad to see it. I drive 110 miles round trip to work everyday. If it were back up to what it was last summer, I don't think I could do it

Amen brother! Last years prices played a big part in me buying the Cobalt for a commuter car. 166 mile round trip daily. The car averages 33 MPG. If I still had my truck I couldn't afford to hunt last year.

Some of you guys need to work closer to home. :d :deer:

I have about a 20 minute ride to work and couldn't be happier. I live far enough from the city (work) to keep me happy and the drive is just long enough for me to unwind.

I wouldn't trade my place in the country for a shorter commute. Just ain't gonna happen. I can't find a career opportunity in the country like I have at the university. I don't mind the commute. Heck I know people that live and work in the metroplex and it takes them just as long to get to work. I leave my house at 4:45 and get to work at about 5:50. Afternoons take a bit longer. I don't mind. And I don't worry nearly as much about crime, pollution, noise, etc. I'll keep buying gas and keep listening to crickets instead of sirens.

Amen to that. Although I'm pretty lucky to be able to live and work rurally. I still have a 15 mile one way commute, but it only takes about 20 minutes and there's only one light. I would still rather work even closer, though.

    Wow. I haven't seen $2.16 in a long time.

At least it's not $4.00 a gallon like it was last year up here!

Nice! Well...we could have been closer but I wanted to be closer to my hunting land. Funny thing is...the wife still thinks I just fell in love with the neighborhood. :ninja:
