Only positive I guess with this down turn in the stock market...Save a few bucks at the pump...

What is everyone else at? I searched the US with my gas buddy app and it looks like we might be the cheapest in the country.

Filled up today at 3.59, which is down 20 to 25 cents from what it has been. The sick thing is I felt for a second that I was getting a deal. :bash:

2.96 yesterday, don't know what it is today. I miss the 0.83-0.97 it was when I started driving.

I was talking about that the other day with someone. I remember a time, when I would come from school and start up the ATV, if your ATV held 5 dollars, you were the man. You had a huge tank. I would ride for 2-3 days on 3 dollars. The other day I went down to the gas station and put 10 dollars in my 500 and it didn't even fill it up, and to beat it all, it wasn't even empty.

How is it possible that gas would be a buck less where you are than most other parts of the country?

Theres a few of on here, David you listening ?, that are going to really age ourselves, because I can remember paying 19.9 cents per gallon when I started driving ! At times they would have gas price wars, and you may see it down to 15.9 cents per gallon. Damn, now I feel old ! :(

I ask the same question on a daily basis
It's $3.25 at most stations here in Council Bluffs, Iowa and just 10 miles away in Omaha, Nebraska it's around 15 to twenty cents more. The wife and I were in Chicago the weekend of the 17th and there's places up there it was over $4 couldn't figure that one out at all

Different states tax gas at different rates.
