I just bought the Garmin Etrex 20 w/ the hunting gps maps. This things was on sale at sportsman's warehouse for 169 i think and the map was a little pricey. But for me not knowing Colorado at all, the map helped out so much. It shows Private, public, federal, government land, and TOPO elevations. everything. its just like having a map in my had w/ auto plotting of my position. The GPS acquires very vast and the battery level hasn't changed at all. Very nice gps and it states that it is waterproof as well witch is nice for me because one less thing i have to worrie about when in the woods. It was supper nice as i was walking around boarding private land a little alarm goes off if you want to let you know your within a specific range of the persons land. all around the map is a little expensive but super effective if your not fully knowing of the land your hunting.

That is very cool about the property lines and alarm. Wish my gps had that.

I've seen those and wondered if they worked well. Seems like a great tool to have when in unfamiliar areas. Thanks for the post.
