I did not get the warm and fuzzies by how many times "let's put all the women and children in the crypts where it's safe" was said when they're about to go to battle with a Being that can literally RAISE AND ENTHRALL THE DEAD. The little girl with the scars on her face is definitely getting Turned. Kill all the women and children and what is there left to fight for?
I can't wait to see what happens. It's curious we have not seen any indications of the red witch. I thought she had to come back to westeros to die and help defeat the knight king?
She hasn't made an appearance anywhere this season yet. When a major character disappears and we know they're coming back, I start growing suspicious on how exactly they're going to bring about their big entrance and why they've been saving their re-emergence.
She has been at my house putting leaches on me or whatever else she wants to do to me. Sent from my iPad using Bowhunting.com Forums
The last time we saw her was with Varys near Dragonstone when she said she was going to Volantis but had to return because she, like Varys, is destined to die in Westeros.
I didn't, and I believe the critical zones are intentionally blurred. Too much snowflakes in the US market ???
I think they just wanted to show how much time has gone by, and that Arya isn't the little girl we used to know. She is grown and a stone cold killer, why not have a relationship? I think they wanted us to be shocked cause we were all still thinking Arya is still the sweet little girl chasing cats in Kingslanding.
Anyone knows how old Arya is supposedly at that time ? I mean, the character, according to the book. Not Maisie Williams. BTW, does the name "Arya" allude to something ... ???
Mid teens. And honestly the whole thing didnt bother me in the least. The context and timing made sense.
I agree. In the middle ages, kids of 13 or 14 years were regularly married, often with each other (i.e. similar age). No comparision to that famous man of non-European descent, who wanted to marry a 6 year old kid, being over 50 himself...
Thoughts on this theory? The NK wasn't in the final scene of episode 2, because he isn't going to winterfell. He knows he can't beat Jon and Dany with their dragons, and doesn't want to lose his most valuable asset. Instead, he is on a solo mission to Kingslanding where there are 1 million unprotected army of the undead recruits waiting for him. Every vision of Bran's has already come true except for the vision of Dany walking through a burned throne room with snow on the ground. The NK going to Kingslanding and burning it to the ground would explain both of those. The NK would also then get a million people in his army, which would effectively make it 10x bigger than Jon's, assuming Jon loses virtually no troops in the battle of winterfell. Bronn will see the NK fly over him on Bronn's way to the north, and warn Jon of what has happened. Bonus Theory: Cersie will realize she is f'ed beyond hope when she sees the NK on Dragon destroying Kingslanding. Knowing that the dead can be defeated with fire (Jon's presentation at KingsLanding) She will decide to do something heroic with wildfire, effectively blowing up the entire city and sacrificing all 1 million people including herself in order to keep them from turning into the army of the undead. Bonus Bonus theory: Cersei's endgame with wildfire takes out the NK and Viseron and opens the door to Dany taking the Iron Throne, which is why she seems calm walking through the ruins of the throne room.
hmmm.....I like the wildfire idea but from all the previews it sure seems like there's fixin to be fight in the North.
Yes I agree there will be a fight in the north, with the remainder of the NKs army. Jon/Dany will win that fight but then be left to face the aftermath of what happens between cersei and the NK in Kingslanding
