Battle of the Bastards was awesome. John Snow is now one of my favorite characters. The giant dying did suck.

Im just happy that The Hound is back. He's my favorite character by far.

It was an okay battle, It had its parts that I liked but I think it could've been a little better. If I was Rickon I would have been running a serpentine pattern instead of a straight line away from arrows. For a second I thought Jon was going to get covered in bodies and find a way out after the battle ended to see some crazy **** that happened. Im glad he got out and beat Ramseys *** though. Im curious on what going to go down this next episode.

I think the finale is going to be crazy. They wouldn't do this huge battle and kill off Ramsey on the second to last episode for nothing. I still think Cersei is going to kill Tommen, whether on purpose or by accident, with the help from the dude who made The Mountain into a zombie. I think she's going to use that wildfire stuff and go crazy on King's Landing and Jamie will return and choke her to death as said in the prophecy she heard as a child that she will be killed by her younger brother after her 3 children die. Even though she and Jamie are twins, it was specifically mentioned that she was born first. I'm sorry if I am spoiling something here but it's just a guess and maybe GoT is becoming too predictable...

Battle of the Bastards was fantastic. I thought Tormund would be getting killed, but luckily he made it another day.

I'm glad that some of these stories are being wrapped up or packaged with another story. That should make the show even better going forward.

The previews didn't look all that exciting honestly...but that could have been done on purpose.

I thought it was the second best episode of the show, Hardhome from last season is still my favorite. They were both directed by the same guy so no wonder both were great.
Wun Wun was the last of his race anyway as far as we know, if one had to die I'd rather it be him than Tormund or Snow. I'm just happy that prix Ramsey finally got his...bastard in every sense of the word.

Yeah Rikkon should have tried to pull Ramsey's sword and gutted him with it, that would have been my choice in the situation knowing without a doubt I'd never make it across the field anyway. Even if Ramsey had missed he had an entire legion of archers on standby. The only reason John didn't catch an arrow was because he's blessed, lol.

I loved the Merreen scenes with the dragons and thought they did a nice job tidying that mess up. Dragons were fantastic.

I'm anxious for them to finally finish Bran's tower of joy reveal for John (if they do) and see what is next for Bran. I'm happy to see some of the Starks paths bringing them back together and to power...about damn time.

That's true, they didn't look that exciting. I may be guessing about something early next season then. My guess just seemed like the next logical craziness to play into the thickening plot.

I think they leave us with 2 or 3 moderate cliffhangers now that the Stark storyline is nicely setup for the final season.

I think it is annoying that they plan on doing 7 episodes next season and only 6 the following...I would prefer that they just do a 13 episode extended series and get it over with instead of drawing it out for two years.

I thought the last 2 seasons were going to be 8 episodes?

Either way, if it allows for bigger budgets (which they will certainly need), I'm all for the shorter seasons.

What I have seen quoted was 7 and 6...the timeline has been on warp speed this year, should be interesting to see how they accelerate things these next two years.

I wish GRRM would get off his butt and finish book 6!

    My prediction with the finale:

    - Cersei burns part (probably the Sept) of KL with wildfire and inadvertently kills Tommen
    - Something happens at the meeting with the Freys and the Lannisters - either the Brotherhood storms in and kills them or maybe Arya hops on Theon and Yara's warp speed ship and poisons everyone.
    - Dany finally gets on a freaking ship towards Westeros.
    - We see the final TOJ scene that we have all been waiting for
    - Littlefinger plots to kill Jon

He met with his editors recently, so its finished on his part.

He will be dead before we get the final book though.

That's what I am expecting...the other person I expect to die is Roy Dotrice, I listened to all 5 books (a 2 hour round trip commute every day is a great time to listen to books), Roy Dotrice narrated all of the books and I'm not looking forward to a different narrator, he's 93 now. He played the alchemist in the series, he was supposed to play Grand Meister Pycell until health reasons kept him out.

I love that the show is finally admitting so many of the long suspected secrets.

    Wildfire released on Kings Landing.

All 3 of Cerseis kids die.

Jon Snow is not Ned Starks Bastard.

Little Finger wants the Iron Throne and Sansa.

These next two seasons should be absolutely epic. This finale sucked in comparison to episode 9, but was a necessary Segway into the final seasons showing the direction of the plots.
