I figured you would have hated it and went on some tirade about how this show sucks because it keeps killing all the interesting characters
Oh please. I am just opinionated on how some of it was done, that's all. I am understanding more and more about the writing style and why things happen. I was completely wrong about Rob dying now that I look back, that I will admit. I am still not convinced that he killed Joffrey in the best possible but it certainly fits the story. The thing is, I am not convinced Tyrion will die. Tyrion still has use to this story.
GAHHHHH!!!!! Just watched it!! how hot is oberyns girl? Man.....anyways!!!! that was one of the most brutal deaths. Great episode, it's still all sinking in. arya laughing was awesome! Sansa's last scene/look was pretty evil looking! God i love this show
I know, Sansa looks like she is going to take on a female role of Littlefinger and she looked pretty dang hot walking down those stairs. I can't wait for Arya's story to develop, I am excited to see when and how she carries out her plan.
Lol, I've read the books and I'm still happy to watch the show...great episode. Oberon...gah...they left out the fact he poisoned his spears. Anyway yeah that was pretty raw. Tyrion has a long hard road ahead of him....his life is over in Kings landing however.
NOOOOOOO!!!!!! Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease?!?!?!?!?! i know you've dropped a few hints here and there which has held me over and given me hope.....but please no! LOL
That's great! The comment on Tyrion isn't as much of a spoiler as it seems....or is it, you'll have to watch to find out, lol. It'll make sense after you see what happens. It's sort of a spoiler and sort of not. I kind of wish he had taken the position on the wall, imagine Tyrion using his skills at the wall. He would have made a pretty good leader there had he ever been able to work into the position but we'll never know, I guess John has that story line to himself. At some point, Martin will have to start overlapping the characters again though....the ones that survive wars and executions and whatnot. I was relieved when they got Sansa out of Kings Landing and avoided certain death...
I will not return to this thread. I thought it went without saying not to mention even a hint of a spoiler. Boooooo.
I can't give "spoilers" if I want to...the tv series isn't always dependably in harmony with the books anyway. They killed Rob Stark's wife in the red wedding and she wasn't even at the wedding in the books. The way Martin goes about this thing...all bets are off.
The john snow show on Sunday was insane!!!!!!!!!!! Some crazy intense fighting scenes. I was waiting for the ax to johns head when he was holding her.. You have to be ready for anything with this show. Watched it twice cause it was that good. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Totally agree, I thought it was maybe the best episode yet but Snow is one of my favorite characters. Can't wait to see what happens with him going after the Wildling King. The giants were awesome, I didn't realize the giants had archery skills, lol. Kind of a shame they killed off Ygritte, I rather liked her but oh well. They changed her death from the books also, a little bit. In the books, she was already dead when John started looking for her after the battle in Castle Black. I'm betting they are going to conclude the season with Tyrions storyline next week...should be very sad and interesting, depending on which characters a person likes and dislikes.
I read your Tyrion post but not the most recent one. I must say I agree. When you're talking about MAJOR characters and what happened in the books the variation isn't going to be that big between the book and the series. A large majority of us trying to participate in the thread haven't read the books... I've read the first but none of the others. On the other hand, last nights episode was awesome!! I didn't think I was going to get to watch either of these next two episodes until early next week because I'm back home in IL and don't have HBO, but I created a profile online and used HBO Go yesterday. I'm interested to see how well they wrap everything else going on up in this last episode to lead into next season.
Did I actually give any spoilers or was what I gave just perceived as a spoiler? What I gave was actually a tease, technically. If someone can tell me, accurately, what happens to Tyrion...based off what I posted, then I will apologize. I would also say that I am far from the first one (if I even did) to post a spoiler in this thread. There have been many many times when after an episode aired, posts were made telling what happened...to anyone that had not yet watched the episode...that is a true spoiler. What I posted was nothing that actually changed the experience of watching the story unfold for the first watch....which is what a "spoiler" does.
but even teasing that something might happen to Tyrion or whoever is kinda lame like I said, this thread is about the show, only discuss what has happened within the show, pretend the books do not exist
