Cannot wait! For those talking about the Red Wedding, HBO2 has been playing season 3 saturday nights to get you up to speed. This weekend is the Red Wedding episode. I'm not really sure I want to watch that again.
The show is good but no where near as good as the books. I'm still waiting for the next book "Winds of Winter" to come out. He needs to hurry up before the show catches up.
John Snow, Bran Stark and Daenerys Targaryen are my three favorite characters. I have thought for a while that it would be cool if John and Daenarys end up together and Bran ended up merging minds with the black dragon and winning the war of five kings.
dammmmmm! that would be a great ending! kinda to happy for this series though.....I can see daenerys getting the throne, then getting her throat slit by her hand maiden who has ties with the lannisters....lol
I've been catching a few episodes all weekend long!! unfortunately I have to wait til tomorrow morning to watch the new episode. I work a 2am-1030am shift, so im in bed at 7pm...kinda sucks, ill have to stay off of this thread and FB tomorrow so I don't hear any spoilers!

pretty good first episode!! just got done watching it. I need to let it all sink in. sucks there's only 9 more episodes left in the season....lol
Ok, so I'm about 5 or 6 episodes in now...midget comedy, softcore porn, and a few sword fights. I guess it can't hurt to keep watching. I assume just about everyones favorite character is Taryion and least favorite is Joffrey?
ya everyone hates jaufree. tyrion lannister is a favorite, but once you get into it more, you gain new favorites!! it just keeps getting better and better the more you watch
Honestly I despise the sex scenes and the overuse of gayness in the tv series. I've read the books and I don't recall nearly that much focus on sex, straight or otherwise, in the books. I mean it's there and you know it's there but as far as I recall it's not explicit and course as the TV series. I don't recall last nights scene with Oberon and wife(?) and paid company at all...I about hurled and had to switch it for a second when that happened....ugh..but it's HBO so... If it weren't for the rest of the story being so interesting, the porn and gay porn would have been things that made me say I'm not interested in watching one more second of this crap. As it is I just change channels until it's over so I can see the rest of the show.
Uh...there is a crapton of sex in the books. The gay stuff isn't as explicit, but it is certainly implied...A LOT. Oberyn is all kinds of bi in the books.
Yeah, I said it's there and you know it's there in the books but it didn't seem quite that profound or focused on to me in the books and as far as the gayness being implied...that's exactly right but implied is a long ways from what the tv series includes. Maybe it's just because TV is so much more visual. It's been a long time since I read the books and I've read through a lot of stuff since so maybe it's all faded in memory but I sure didn't recall Oberon being bi...maybe I skipped a bunch somewhere along the way. I know I did tend to skip over some of that stuff in the books as I came to it as I was interested in the overall plot, not the sexual detail junk.
