With all of the "cooking" style threads popping up, and this isn't the first time... I was wondering what it would take to get a Recipe section added, and people could post their own/favorite/reviews of recipies in there... I'm just curious... I know I could ask my wife (as far as the "What would it take" part of that, but would anyone be willing to take part in that kind of section?
I myself don't really have any recipes for game, which is why I always have to run to the internet and do a google search and guess as to whether or not the recipe is any good. I've posted a couple of times here for ideas, and everything has turned out great.
The powers that be are at the ATA Show. Try pm'ing Justin or Todd about it. I wouldn't mind seeing it.
think it would be a great idea, with all the different hunters, different locations, different game... it'd be good to see how others prepare their food
I think it would be good. I have found (over the years) that food is prepared SOOO differently, in different areas. I for one, get really bored with the same things, so I rarely make the same thing twice. lol. I know it sounds far fetched, but seriously, I just don't. This would be a good thing to have, as long as people don't get carried away, and abuse it... Like a previous (rodent related) post of mine...
It has been talked about before.. and it may become a reality soon enough. I believe their may even be some video wild game cooking on the main page during the summer.
I think it's a great idea, although I only have a few good venison recipes to contribute, I never get tired of trying new ones!
