Just glancing through some reviews it looks like that cam eats batteries. Maybe an external battery would help you out or maybe you have a faulty cam. Heres a review on that cam.

The camera does eat batteries, but mine works well. I'd return it if possible though.

Sounds like the camera, but you may want to try rayovac. At least your assured of fully charged batteries from the factory. I was reading an article from trailcampro.com and they gave a really bad evaluation on a trialcam, come to find out, they had to write a letter to the manufacturer apologizing for their review because they had used faulty duracells and energizers in their tests that were bad from the factory. They tested rayovacs and none have been faulty from the factory as the date of the article .

    Denner37,
Hi! My name is Nick Hartman, I work for Trailcampro.com (I do all the web work for the site). I've talked to everyone here at the office, seeing if anyone remembered an instance like you described. I've also looked everywhere for this article and haven't found it.

I know in our testing we only use lithiums, Nimh rechargeables and Energizer of Duracell alkalines. We've never used Rayovac.... Do you have a link to the article you referenced? I'm afraid you may have us confused with someone else?

Let me know if you have any questions ([email protected] or call 1-800-791-0660), I'd be happy to help. Thanks!

    -Nick Hartman
