Once again dude, no worries. One likes to pick and the other is just cantankerous. The WC is a sketchy place.
The screen size, and the colors are amazing. It's super fast and has a lot of awesome features (like voice mail messages that are displayed like text messages - by the number who left them). The camera takes burst mode and "best shot" photos. Battery life, as always, leaves a little to be desired, but it makes it through the day on a single charge. Also, thanks to the "buy back" program that I purchased at best buy for my last phone (they no longer offer this), they actually paid me $70 to upgrade to this phone. Sweet!
I have the Galaxy S IIand it's the best phone I've ever had by far. I hope samsung gets a double-lung pass-through on apple with this lawsuit, too. Sent from my phone. Spelling was not a priority.
I am with you on this one, although I read yesterday that Apple won the lawsuit and Samsung is appealing.
My contract is up and I am trying to decide if I stay with T-Mobile and get the Galaxy III or go with the IPhone.
Sprint is who I have, they have good reception where I live and are by far the cheapest (considering I have unlimited data, among other things). Things I don't like about the phone. I've had it for a week, and the battery lasts me the day. It's far better than most androids I've had, but still wish it was longer. My wife has one too, and I love that we can share things so easily. Will probably buy a smart tv with our wedding money to get even more use of it (we need a TV for our family room downstairs anyway). I considered waiting for the iphone 5, but I don't use apple, so I really don't have a reason to get one. If I had a macbook, ipod, etc I might have waited. On the plus side for apple users, they changed the pin system so everyone's extra chargers and accessories will have to be repurchased. Favorite parts of the phone from wife point of view (she's chiming in here while sitting next to me): Voice mail, texting, and the auto call function (lift the phone to your ear while texting and it'll call the person you're texting - seems small, but great it is great), the notification system (when you get a message, it shows on the lock screen, you swipe the icon and it takes you right to the message, instead of having to open the phone, hit messages, then hit the message). I like the contact setup too. Find a contact, swipe right it calls them, left it opens texting. I just started using google + with this phone, love that. Also, it's the first google wallet capable phone (lets you use your phone as a cc at gas stations etc, secure - have to enter pin on phone), which is pretty neat. I haven't used the voice command system yet, but the voice to text program is by far the best I've used. While it doesn't matter in my area yet, the S III is 4g LTE capable, where the current i-phone is not, so that might matter in your area. The i-phone 5 is rumored to have LGE capability, and to be larger, etc; So was the i-phone 4, so will have to wait a couple weeks to find out. Best advantage of I-phone I can see is it's resale value, unless you use other apple products.
I also have the SIII. Love it. I am biased though because my wife owns and runs 3 cell phone retail stores. So, what I hate about the Apple products is that they are a bully when it comes to selling their phones. They try to keep ALL the profit for themselves and force the retailer to take it in the shorts. Like always, Apple cant stand to have any competition and that just isnt good for the consumer. Based on morals alone, I will pass on any Apple product. They have over $100 BILLION in cash and still want to sue anyone that competes. They are only happy with a monopoly on the market. That ultimately costs the consumer a lot more money.
In addition to this, they are completely proprietary. That's a bit of a turn off when you compare it to the open-source droid platform.
Yes, because so many users can take advantage of open source operating system. Fletch apple just acts like most corp in America, they want more and do not care who they crush.
But there just isnt that kind of monopoly with most products. The consumer and retailer both get stomped on by Apple. Believe it or not, one of the "copy rights" they were given was the rectangular shape of the phone. I mean seriously! Nobody else can make a rectangular shaped phone! What they are allowed to do just because they have more money than God is mind boggling. I say make them compete, not monopolize. We all win if that happens. By the way, you are my pick for largest grossing buck this year. Dont make me look any more foolish than I already do.
