one olf the guys in the club uses these - seems pretty solid and he has never complained about them opening - he took a doe last year and she went maybe 15 yards

A buddy of mine loves his and will not switch to any other broad head. I am shooting rages right now and if i was to change it would be to G5 and possibly the Tekans. He put a horrible shot on a doe last year and she only went about 50 yrds.

Correct me if im wrong but I thought I seen thenm use these on one of the heartland BH episodes and they definetely did the trick. My friend purchased some a few days ago and they definetely looked like they could do the job.

Don't use these. If you have to use an expadalbe head just use a rage like everyone else. The tekens I've had a very bad experience with them. Shot a doe through the heart at like 7 yards and it didn't open at all. Looked like I shot her with a 22. Then last year a buddy shot a yearling and it did not open and we had a hard time tracking her. I think they get stuck when it gets cold out or if you get moisture in it and then it freezes in can be an issue.

T ... those broadheads are ILLEGAL in NY, as they are considered "BARBED"

Let me know if you can hunt with them ... i'll send you mine that I bought before I knew that

I have been using them for years now with no complaints except from the deer that I've shot. What I like about them is the ease in which to change the blades, no little set screws! good luck with your choice. deerman

I've tried them out for my local shop shooting into a broadhead target they had and shot a new pkg of 3 and only one of the came thru with both blades deployed and I said NOPE don't want to shoot those!!! And he said yep we're taking them off the shelf....just my 2 cents tho!

If you want a tried and true mechanical I would shoot either the Rage 2 blade or the Rocket Steelhead 100gr....these things are flawless...I shot them till I switched to the Rage last yr. I also have about 5 buds that shoot the Rockets and love them!

    Again just my 2 cents

We have shot these broad heads numerous times and have yet to have a problem. We have taken Whitetail and Hogs both and the broad head has done the job everytime. I do belive with any mechanical broad head the precentage of possible failure is always going to be there no matter what brand.

We now shoot Steel Force PHAT Heads all the time. Cut on contact and very sharp out of the package. Not mention Steel Force has a lifetime resharpening service for free... These broad heads will cut through the biggest of animals and are a very good choice for lighter poundage bows.
