Just picked up some G5 t3 heads the other day. I am wondering what the deal is with tuning the tension on these heads. Are they ready to shoot as is? Also. What is the best way to get them to deploy so that i can adjust the tension and experiment with the spider clips. General info and experriences would be great.

they are ready to shoot as is! I use a pair of small needle nose pliers to adjust the tension of the springs and to drop the blade down. Experiment with them and see what works best for you.

I was told to take the spider clip off and make sure the blades are all the way in. Then put spider clip back on. Use rubber thing to attach to arrow. I've shot one deer with these and it worked great. I've heard others say that you don't need to do anything too. The guy that told me to do this worked at Cabelas and used these last season. He was real happy with them also.
