If you got a bow fast enough to go 0 to 30 yrds, go for it. I have been looking hard at the XR, I like the fixed pins for hunting, and the floating pin for long range practice. I wonder if I could take out the third pin since I only shoot out to 30 yrd when hunting and practice with the floating.
I got a MR7, It shoots 1 to 32 with 1 pin right now, And the rest of the pins are so close to each other its kinda hard to shoot thats why im looking at the 2 pin sight to try to get some more space inbetween the pins and not so much pin glow.
Looks like a winner. If my bow shot straight out to 30, it would be my choice. don't have it myself, but I read a lot of reviews before I purchase anything. Let us know your choice.
I have the XR and love it. Have it sighted in out to 80 yds. Depending on your arrow weight you may be able to get more or less. I purchased it for my Pronghorn hunt this September since I will be using a decoy and the range may be a bit longer than usual. I can tell you that my "short range" shooting has gotten better exponentially. Its an awesome site. I have found an added bonus; When I am doing my regular hunting I set the floater at 55 yds and use it as a marker on the front leg. Helps keep my shots from being "to far back". Hope this helped!
I got an xr2 on the way hopefully have it by the end of the week so i can sight it in and ill let you guys know how it goes.
Love my xr2. Have it on a mathews helim. Super good sight pins are pretty good on brightness and I love the adjustablilty. Just my thoughts on it
Yeah , I got mine on my bow earlier this week. Havent had time to sight in the variable pin yet just the first pin. But i havent found anything i dont like yet and and it seems well made.
