I just picked up a set of these and was wondering if anyone else uses them?

i used montec 100's last year, out of the box they need to be sharpened a bit, but otherwise a decent bh... they were reasonably close to my field points last year...

Thanks for the info sevenmag. Yeah the guy at the shop said that 95% of the guys who came in and pick them up said they shoot the same or pretty durn close to their FP's.

If you get the CS make sure you coat them with a little Vaseline to keep the carbon steel from rusting. They are supposed to be a lot sharper out of the box than the stainless ones.

I had Montecs last year and went to the CS this year. I just got done shooting them tonight. I'm happy with them. I compared one with a Montec that was not used last year and it was sharper. Kodiak thanks for the tip on coating them.

I also made the switch the Montec CS this year. Ordered me 6 right here off the site. A buddy of mine was switching to another head so he gave me 3 of the regular ones he used last year. I've been shooting his for the last month when I practice. I'm looking forward to putting one through a deer. Thanks for the tip Kodiak.

I just got on here to start a new thread about these heads when I saw this one.

I plan on picking up 2 packs. I have used Montecs the last 3 years, and I have loved them...but they are harder than hell to resharpen. Hopefully these new CS model can change that around a bit.l

I just picked up 2 packs of these Montecs. Hopefully in early October I have a review on them.
