G5 Meta Peep Size for Bowtech Tomkat Factory Sights

My brother is getting a new string put on his Tomkat Saturday and he still has the factory sites on the bow. That being said, what size G5 Meta Peep would you recommend that he get? I was thinking something like 1/4 or 5/16 but I was just wondering what you all would recommend. Thanks!

 

For hunting I like the 1/4" meta peep. Target I use a 3/16".

 

In general the farther the sight is from the eye the smaller peep you can use but for hunting you want lots of light transmission. I put the 1/4" on in general but I do have a 3/16 on my g/f's bow since her draw is short and she doesn't hunt.

 

the bigger the better for those shadowy conditions.

 

I believe it is a preference thing. I use the 1/4.
