Hey guys thinking of going with the G5 striker V2 this year and I notice this head along with a few others from G5 come with what they are calling a BMP ( Ballistic Match Point ). From what I have read he BMP's are basically a field point that is supposed to mimic the broad head flight characteristics of the fixed head. I was trying to see if anyone has shot the BMP's and compared them to their broadheads. If so how did they fly in comparison to the broad heads.

ask me again after this weekend.
But the BMP is not the same profile as the Striker - its more like their mech heads.
That being said, the original Strikers flew great for me.

Thanks dnoodles. I was just looking around on the internet and I know they make a BMP for the deadmeats but then I also found one for the striker V2. I like the idea of having something that matches the flight of your fixed head so you don't have to mess up your target and dull your blades but at the same time I am always skeptical about those kind of things because a company can say anything about their product because they want you to buy it so I always like to try to get input from people who have used a product I am interested in so I can get a honest review/opinion. Keep me updated

I use G5 Deadmeat broadheads and I was so impressed with the exact flight of the bmp point compared to the broadhead itself that I no longer shoot regular field points. I sight my bow in to the bmp points and shoot those instead. Hope this helps!

Thanks for the info Ajbunce. I feel the same way. I would rather practice with BMP's knowing that they will match my broadhead. Now to decide if I want to go with deadmeats or Striker V2 if I pick G5 lol.

I shoot the G5 Montec and I have replaced all my field tips with the new BMP and I am hear to tell you they shoot the exact same. Never before have I seen my broad heads fly exact.
