My brother lives locally and works at the prison bearing the statue Copper John products are named after........he knows and shoots 3D with some guys that work there as well.

Word on the grapevine is that Copper John is moving all production out of the USA and closing it's facility in NY.

I SINCERELY hope this is not true.............and I am certainly NOT stating it as fact.

Just a heads up for guys out there this matters to as something to look for.

The lure of overseas production isn't as great as it used to be, but it's still a very viable avenue to pursue larger profit margins. Unfortunately companies don't weigh the unseen costs it takes on their product as a whole. If this is true, it's not a surprise, just another disappointment. I wish that America would wake up and see that we have only hurt ourselves by creating the downfall of manufacturing here at home.

Wouldn't surprise me really. It's unfortunate.
