Not with broadheads, but they're working great with field points so far.

I have a pack of 200 of them waiting to be put on my GT's. Of course, I've had them since March, I'm just a slacker. I don't foresee anything being much different over my blazers...I just like the looks:D

I shot them with Crossfires. They shoot great. I like them over blazers because they fletch much easier.

Excellent, I shoot the crossfire's and wondered how well they flew with them.

maybe I'm dumb (entirely possible), but, the first time I ever fletched an arrow was friday night on the gate of my truck before the beer started flowing at the GTG, I was using blazers and I thought it was terribly easy, just set it in the jig, glue, put in place, let it set a couple mins and move on to the next one... I can't imagine something else being so magically easier than that...

or maybe I started out the hard way and it'll get easier??

The issue that a lot of guys ran into w/Blazers is that because they're so stiff the base tends to not flex and adhere perfectly to the arrow shaft. The Fusion vanes use a different material that is softer and more pliable for the base, which allows it to flex and conform to the shaft. IMO they fletch up great - I haven't had a single problem with yet.

gotcha, makes sense I guess... blazers are a bit on the thick side compared to the duravanes i had one some other arrows... probably why they got blown off so easy when they got buried in the hay bales and the duravanes didn't...

Having just started fletching my own I'm still trying to find a vane that I like. I need to try these out.

I like the blazer but they can be a pain to fletch. Lately I've been using 3 inch feathers and i actully really like feathers now...I think im gonna stay with them for a while

How is the durability compared to blazers?

Durability of the vane itself is, from what I can tell, the same. The vane is made from a thicker, stiffer, more duable material than the base. The two materials are "Fused" together hence the name.

Mine passed through a bunch of hay bales last weekend, and even bounced off the ground and through some mud a few times and show no outward signs of wear. :tu:

I have my jig set for an offset and it's darn near impossible (for me) to get the blazers to make contact along the entire surface. Fusion vanes are nice and rounded to contour to the shaft, plus they are softer, plus they are clear (the area you glue) so it's easy to see if there is contact all along the shaft. Get both and you'll see what I mean. I gave away the blazers I had.

Hey, it was the long distance shoot! Why don't you come out and fling a few arrows 70 yards downrange when all you have are 20-30-40 pins! :D

My fusion vanes didn't bounce off the ground, mud or go through hay bales! :D:evil: :d

As for the vanes, I like them so far... much easier to fletch than the blazers. I've got some tipped with slick trick for piggy's tonight... I'll let ya know what happens!!:d

I did a huge write up on the Fusion vanes Germ both here and HNI. I can't find them now.

They perform exactly the same, as well as group the same with Blazers. They are slightly heavier if I remember and the fletchability is better on the Fusions.

Here Germ, check this out: Fusion Vanes, scaled etc..pics.
