Today I was shooting in my garage and just overall bow tune. As I was shooting through paper a funny thought came across. Can you paper tune with broadheads? we all know paper tuning is only a starting point because we still need to bh tune. This got me really thinking since arrow flight can be affected adding a bh and we make micro rest adjustments to get grouping with fp's would this save time at the outdoor range? Just wondering what everyone opinion is on shooting bh through paper. Rob and Bruce I'm really looking forward to your 02 cents.

Paper tuning is really looking at the arrow as it leaves the bow and before the fletching, or BH, would have time to affect the flight.

The reason you do BH tuning in the field is so that you can make the micro adjustments needed for proper arrow flight. In order to get proper arrow flight with BH's you must see how the BH will change the arrow's flight pattern. BH's due to design and profile, etc... will react differently when shot, therefore shooting them thru paper will only give you more slices thru the paper and not give enough time to allow the BH to steer the arrow in any way!
