1st recurve deer (only killed two)....I had missed four prior shots and finally killed this one on public land. I was beyond happy.
My first big buck bow kill. 2001 No deer, or girls for that matter, where given the "shocker". My Dad and sister during gun season, just a couple of sheets to the wind. My first buck with my new PSE in 2010. That was back before we knew to stand behind the buck..
Thread of the year right here boys! Blessings........Pastorjim Sent from my RCT6703W13 using Tapatalk
This is what I would consider my first mature buck. Probably a 3 1/2 year old with a small, busted rack. Still to this day probably one of the craziest kill to date, kind of a long story. Just bought my first flag ship bow, Mathews legacy. Shot in 2003. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
He definitely had a better rack then the one I shot! Lol It's funny how hunting changes once you shoot your first mature buck. That buck was a huge changing point in my hunting career. I looked at bucks differently after him, that's when the obsession really took hold! Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
Holt....the elephant in the room. Ummm. Someone shot like a 200 inch Buck on here. Cant remember who..... Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
Don't know what your talking about Brett! Hehe. I did shoot a nice one once then found him a creek shortly after. Is that what your talking about? Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
Thanks man. I remember that morning well. We were talking back and forth on the live from the stand that morning. It rainned all day the day before. We were saying how quiet it was walking in. Then I heard a huge crack of a antler about 100 yards away. About 15 minutes later he was down, it was a epic hunt and got to share the whole thing on here! Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
It's in the 2016 thread. I found it thru the search button, but don't know how to link it here. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
That really was a lifetime experience! It was honestly like hitting the Power Ball in the deer world. I enjoyed the pics he shared of that buck in velvet during the summer!
