Well it's 3 weeks into the season and my hunting ground is still a wetland. I cannot access it due to a drain dip in the road leading up to my ground. it wouldn't be that bad if a farmer would put in a F'N coevert. All of this rain is just ruining any chance at me getting out. I need to find a new place to hunt. I know, I know, "well at least you're not stationed overseas fighting a war", or "be grateful you're not laid up in a hospital from whatever illness, or injury". Blah, Blah, Blah!

I hope that one day, this season, I'll be able to sit in those spots that I scouted earlier this year. I really don't want to hunt my dad's property, but it's looking like that's going to be my only option. Please Lord, Throw me a freaking bone?

    Vent over!

Farmers are beyond busy right now with the harvest, the last thing on their mind is replacing a culvert. Maybe you can ask him if there is anything you can do to help. Good luck getting back to that spot this year, good thing is it will be undisturbed when you do get back there.

Strap on your seat belt and forge it. That's what quads and mud tires are for. Also it's a lot of fun.

There's never been a culvert. it's always been a deep dip. and when it rains its filled with water like a creek. I've driven through it many times, but not when it's higher then my SUV.

It would be equivalent to running the "tough mudder", from that point.
