I'm in the woods. every chance I get reguardless of moon phase, u can't kill them in the house. I have had very good sightings during a full moon though, more so in the morning.

I hunt when I can, I just tend to see far less deer during full moon times.

During full moon phases I still hunt but I tend to sleep in a little and usually get on stand more towards the late morning for those mid-day hunts.

I pay little attention to it in terms of whether or not I will hunt or when I'll hunt. I too, have had very good luck during a full moon. The deer are still there. The moon didn't zap them.

For me a full moon only means that I will be able to get into my stand in the morning with more ease. Otherwise I usually have to turn the head lamp on to get things set up with the climber... It's easier for me to move around undetected in the morning, I can see each step I am taking and so on. For that reason I prefer a full moon actually.

Typically, I see more along the roads to and from hunting properties, but less while in stand during full moons. I prefer just the opposite as the deer seem to return to their beds later and get up earlier where I hunt. During the rut phases though mid-day hunts can produce regardless of moon phase!

I don't like a full moon. But, I cannot control it and my work schedule. So, to answer your question, I really don't care. I love to hunt the rut, and when a doe come into heat, I can promise you the moon phase does not control a rutting buck. Just Hunt!:nana::nana:

I don't adjust my hunting times as to moon phase. I do pay attention to it but still go when I want :D
