I just purchased 400 grain Full metal jacket arrows and none of my 100 grain heads fit into the arrows .Do I have to go to lower grain heads or is there something wrong with the arrows ?I can screw the heads in half way but it will not fit in all the way

It is a micro diameter shaft with deep six inserts so you would need a deep six specific broadhead

What heads are you trying to put in them? Do all the arrows have the same issue? You should not need a special head for the HIT inserts anything should work

BH should fit any way. Never heard of a Deep six BH. Use the 17/64 to match the out side DIA. so you can remove arrows easy.

They have deep six kill zones that would probably fit

Did you install the inserts or a pro shop? The hit inserts have a tool to push the insert to the proper depth, if not the proper depth the results look like what you're looking at. A buddy had a shop make him some arrows and had the same results, he got them replaced.

the people that work at ****s usually know nothing. They are some great guys there that know what they are doing but some don't. I wouldn't trust them doing most things.

I shoot FMJ, a properly installed hit insert should be pushed about 7/16 of an inch past the end of the arrow. Push something into the arrow to the insert and see what you have. I've never needed a special tip, I think ****s needs to make you a new batch of arrows. My guess is your inserts are flush with the arrow tip. Take a pic looking at the insert without a tip screwed in.

I agree with many of the comments - sounds like they weren't installed right.... There is a specific process you are supposed to follow when installing them... I'd just bring them back and tell them the problems you are having - they will most likely have to cut some new ones for you....

I don't think they were installed correctly either. I shoot the same arrow and don't have any trouble using different tips or heads.
