Good luck to all of you getting out this weekend. Two more weeks wait for me here in IL. Finally made great progress yesterday getting stuff done. Was able to get 3 out of the 4 sets hung and all lanes trimmed so one final set and I am going to be done. Hope to get that finished up early next week.
Can't see deer if you aren't in the woods. Have a water hole that I will be sitting over and I need a doe for the freezer.
Guys just wanted to remind everyone when you are taking your harvest pics for the scoreboard take a second and get two distinct pictures. So many times I see pictures that are so identical it is really hard to tell if they are different at all. Let's make sure we get the correct pictures so we don't loose any points!
Well back home for the night an morning. Tomorrow is gonna be family day. Today we went from chasing deer to chasing elk this afternoon. Seen a nice spike and a couple cows but couldn't close the gap. (Wife has the elk and deer tag). Had the wife and little ones with me today. Didn't see any deer but did see more moose, coyote's, fox and the elk's. Found a few new areas also. Gonna hit the woods hard Monday- Wednesday. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
VimeUhOh Not the view you want to see while checking cams one last time at noon before the opener in two weeks. Good thing is there were some brutes on camera!
Saw a doe this morning out of range and a squirrel dropping stuff on my head. All in all was not very productive. Should not have switched stands yesterday.
Well I washed all my hunting clothes and checked all of my gear. Now its time to hurry up and wait for the season to get here.
