I'll be right behind you. getting them in late this year on Sept. 10th. but I won't be hunting them till late Nov.
Yeah, I still have clover to plant, but i got my last treestand up today. It does suck to work on this stuff alone, but my friend Bolt never left my side.
I don't know if you guys saw my post in the "what you bought today" thread but I lucked into a stealth cam gxw (wireless) for the price of a g42. Wal Mart had it locked on the wrong hook. Anyway I got it connected today and played with it and I think it's going to be a super valuable Intel tool for a section of property that is hard to access without bumping deer. Friday I'll get it hung
Sometimes I like doing it by myself up until the heavy lifting starts... Good lookin pup ya got there! Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-T377A using Tapatalk
Must be nice. lol I was suppose to be heading there in 2 weeks, but thanks to our job and there brilliant idea to change our schedule, it will be next year now.
Georgetown, CO Spotted up plenty of nice mulie bucks on a hour ride over a pass. Also saw a black bear and lots of sheep
CML I think we are going to have to suspend you from the team thread for a few days. Its not fair to the rest of us to see you out there livin the dream. Good Luck and have Fun!
3 new sets hung this past weekend. Trail cameras are up and running. Clothes are getting washed tonight. So far I've been seeing a lot of deer on the properties that I hunt. Only 2 mature bucks on camera thus far, but I'm excited nonetheless!
Headed out in the AM to check cams for last time, hang another stand and set a groundblind. The guy I hunt with just ordered 3 new XOP silver stands and sticks. Only one of them came in the mail so far. So we will still have 2 more to hang and 2 more groundblind. One step closer. ready to get it done and let the woods settle down. Sheeesh this stuff is hard work!
Took a cruise around Gunnison, CO last night and spotted this buck on the edge of a hay field. I'll tell you what, if I had the money, I'd move here in a heart beat. Headed to our camp today, won't have a signal until I bring my big bull back into town good luck to the guys starting their season!
I've been checking cameras every week or so and only have one buck showing up. Fortunately there are plenty of does so I expect the rut to be a lot more productive. I plan on getting some stands hung this weekend and doing some more shooting. Season starts September 24th for me. Happy Labor Day weekend everyone!
I'm in the same boat. only buck I have is a 2 yr old. tall and narrow. Looks to have some character but def not a shooter. think he will need 2 more yrs. got some does though so we will see
couple pics from today. got one stand hung and one ground blind set. and this is that 2yo. buck. He will be nice one day.
