How many bowhunters do we have here that use this style of arrow rest? I have been seriously looking at getting one. The one I am considering is the Trophy Taker X-Treme FC SL Drop-Away Arrow Rest. What are the reviews from everyone here? That use this or something similar to this rest, of course. I have been using a decent drop away for some time now, but I like some of the other reviews I see online. Thanks for everyone's input.

My favorite rest I've ever used was the limb driver, still is...that said, I wanted a full capture for the ease of keeping the arrow ready when stalking on trips out west. I chose the NAP Apache drop away and have no complaints. I didn't set it up so I can't comment on how easy it is to tune (why i loved the limb driver)...but it is really quiet/dependable thus far once on the bow.

Love mine too! I don't ever see myself switching rests for a long time. This one is quiet, smooth, tough, has great containment and is accurate. What else do you need in a hunting rest? Oh, made in America too.

If you're primarily a treestand/blind hunter, a full containment rest really isn't needed IMO. It can't hurt, but I think there are other things to look for in a rest other than containment.

I have the NAP Apache CARBON and love it. Had the original Apache before and still have it. Won't even consider selling it.

Thanks all for the info. I have been looking at other rests, and found one that looks pretty cool. It's the Trophy Ridge Revolution drop away. Again, it is a full containment, as Muzzyman88 mentioned if you are a treestand/blind hunter they are really not needed. But, this does look like a really good rest. I am curious how noisy the QAD is compared to something like the Revolution? Thanks again.

I have the revolution on my Monster MR-7, the thing works GREAT! You can lock it in and walk with the arrow ready if you are wanting to stalk, or keep it ready in the tree without it moving around alot. I am debating about looking at the new Carbon Apache by NAP, but I still love my revolution for now.

I'll muddy the waters with a ripcord code red. I have one and love it. I have never had as much as a hiccup from it. Perfect every time. I have some friends that have them and they will say the same things.
