I will be in Ft. Lauderdale for my daughters national tumbling event June 17th thru June 23rd. I am planning a charter boat trip for the 18th one of the days she is not competing. I would like her and I to fish together for a half a day or so. Have done a lot of research online, but looking for real world advice. Any suggestions or ideas would be great.

No clue if its the right time of the year or if its to far north for them, but if any of them offer wahoo fishing, I would jump on it! My parents came back from the Keys in Jan and brought home a bunch of it...best tasting fish I ever had! Was amazing! Almost has be wanting to move down there...almost lol

Really depends on what you are willing to spend and what you are looking to catch. Personally the big charters that go 30 miles of shore anchor on a reef and just tell you to drop your lines with 50 other people on board has always been disappointing for me. I lived down in that area for awhile. If it were me I would look for some inshore fishing, try and find one that will get you on some Redfish or Trout. They will take you through some beautiful marshes and intercoastal waters. You will have a good chance in seeing gators, dolphins, all types of birds, and possibly a manatee.
