    I took this buck in Wise Co. Texas on September 28, 2014. The second morning of Texas archery opener. I didn't post him because I wasn't a member yet. I am so stoked to get my mount back in one month because I was the first to bring one to the taxidermy shop this year. Just one more advantage of bow hunting and being in the woods before everyone else around here is. Oh and he tastes great too! Here are some pics.

    Great buck, congrats. It's really nice to get a mount back in a short period of time. The guy I use rarely takes over 90 days. Maybe because I don't kill mounters regular enough and he wants to keep me coming back. :D

    Awesome buck man. If you don't mind me asking where did you take him? I live near Wichita Falls and wise co. Is not far. Hopefully I will need some work done this year.

    That is a nice buck.
    We just picked mine up from last year. One of the best taxidermist around our area, Rick Lowry.

    Thanks for the comments! This buck meant a lot to me. I watched him on cam from early August until the kill. Here is a photo of him on the hoof in August while in velvet. This was the first photo I ever got of him. [​IMG]
