Hey y'all, My names Des. I just moved to Vernon Hills, IL from South Carolina and I'm a bow-a-holic. I wanted to take a chance and introduce myself on here as I am looking for tips, tricks, and general information about hunting in Illinois. Some hunting background information on myself: been hunting since I was 8, got my first bow at 12 and I've been slinging arrows ever since. I used to belong to a few clubs down South and I am a heavy believer in QDM. I've done a bit of research up here and it seems that public land is over crowded and private land is too expensive so I am wondering whats a fella gotta do up here to get into a tree!? If you can drink beer and skin a deer, we'll get along great.
