I see a few people using Frigid Forage products, wondering what's your experiences with them and what products you've used? Is there truth the these seeds being more tolerant to cold or little difference from other companies seeds?

    Thanks.

I used the Monster Magnet annual mix last year. Unfortunately I was pretty dissapointed. The area had full sun exposure and I applied lime and fertilizer as our soil test indicated, but the plot came in, poor, at best. I'm going back to a local vendor this year and some biologic stuff. I was pretty hopeful as it is a Minnesota company and would like to support them but I wasnt impressed.

That's good information, I've always used either whitetails institute or local feed mill seed with pretty good success, maybe I shouldn't try to fix whats not broken.

I had excellent results from the Big and Beasty Brassica blend they offer. It's a very good product that I will use again. Thier customer service is excellent as well.

I think I'll just have to give them a shot, in the recent years I've realize how much I like dealing with small companies. I'll try to post pictures later in the summer and see how everything goes!
