    Truth be told I usually Don't shoot does till late season, but sometimes I do get hungry for backstrap early. Hopefully I kill a buck early though.. LOL

    My season starts October 1st but I also have the two day youth season on September 21 and 22 since I'll be 16 (the limit for youth season)

    yeah i really hope.in NJ we have a good amount of deer but not many mature bucks

    yeah we mostly have spikes, forks and button bucks. but if you have private land to hunt then you can usually get a decent buck i have a couple if nice 7 points i am keeping my eye out for

    Hey Matt, wanna make a wager? Not sure how big of a buck you're holding out for but maybe we can do something like how many inches over whatever you're holding out for, versus how many inches I hold out for.
    For example: If you're looking for a 100 inch deer and you shoot a 110, you get 10 points. I am generally looking for something 125 or better, so if I shoot a 135 I'd get 10. or something to that effect.

    Say we bet a 12 pack of beverages for the G2G next year?

    Sure man count me in. What do you want to wager on? Biggest buck or first buck? It doesn't matter to me what it is, pack a field tips, breakfast at the gtg, I'm good for whatever.
