    My brother from another mother.

This post made me so hungry. I actually went home and fixed that exact meal last night. We love breakfast for supper once in a while. It was a big hit with the family.

As long as the dish has some strips of bacon on it...then I am fine calling it breakfast!

Yup, love me some french toast, along with pancakes and waffles. Either of these 3 will work. This along with some good breakfast sausage and lots of syrup is my breakfast of choice.

    I'm hungry now.

We call it freedom toast here. ha! Rarely eat it.

I'd rather have bacon, eggs fried in the grease with a side of biscuits and gravy.

Usually I make a six-ish egg omelette with bacon or sausage and cheese with red salsa on top. (for the two of us)

This thread is nothing short of a torment for me. Ever since I came to the realization that I can't eat or drink anything I want anymore, breakfasts like these are a thing of the past for me. Oatmeal is my usual breakfast now....but oh how I would love a big ole egg, bacon, sausage and biscuit & gravy breakfast right about now....damn high cholesterol.

While we're on this French Toast thingy. I hope you all use REAL Maple Syrup and not that imitation Aunt Jemiima or Mrs. Butterworth crap. If i'm going out to a restaurant to meet someone for breakfast and think mayb pancakes or waffles... I have a couple little syrup bottles I fill up at home and take my own syrup. No way am I ruining a meal with that fake crap.
