same here ... I don't EVER get bored ... as a matter of fact, the older I get, the faster time seems to go by on stand ...

Sometimes I'll just think about things. Other times I'll send some text messages or play a quick game on the phone. There's usually enough to look at that I can keep myself entertained.

Bowhunting, I'm much more focused, but rifle hunting the 9 day WI season gets long. Sunrise to sunset sits until the season is over. So then I'll text my family members to see how their hunt is going, I also bring a pocket sized New Testament to read.

Bow season? No way. It can all happen too fast.

Of course, if I had an iphone, it'd be a different story. I'd be on BH.com harassing all of you!:D

I dont like to do anything other than hunt and eat/drink. Seems like the minute i lose my focus the deer do the unexpected. I dont wait all year to get in the stand and play video games.

If its a 3 hour sit in October than I just sit and hunt. When November rolls around and I start my rut vacation, I start bringing reading material. I love 12 hour sits, but every year I have a few days where I sit dawn to dusk with almost no deer movement at all. You can say what you want, but after a few days of that I need a little reading to take my mind somewhere else for a while. Man I can't wait for it to get here!

i haven't heard anyone say this, i must be the wierd one on here. I count the leaves falling to the ground, it keeps me looking for the littlest movement.
