Replies have been sent to those who have mailed us blades to test. Here is a video of our guide sharpening a set of Vortex blades sent to us by an AT member that took advantage of this offer. Because he sent us blades and we were able to use our guide to sharpen his blades and make a video we are sending him a free Stay Sharp guide. Normally we use 400 and 1000 grit but this blade was used and quite dull and the blade profile was slightly curved rather than straight so we started with 320 grit to straighten the edge. Also, after watching the video we realized we left off 4 strokes on each side with a butcher's steel.
