I went out for the 6th time today, checking an area that i have never really been in. Its a run in a creek bottom that the deer use heavily. After about an hour, i found the shed ive been seeking. It sprouts 10 points (11 if one wasnt broken). Ill get the tape on it later this week to see what it scores.

(And if you want the truth, i was shaking like i had just shot a deer when i found it :deer: )

OH hell yeah :tu: just when you thought you would never find one a MONSTER jumps out at ya!! ;) I have been hoping you would find his sheds. I know he is a legend in your area and you have history with this buck!!! Crick hopes to see you holding him this fall ;) dont give up on the other one, im suspecting a buck with that kind of one sided weight will be trying to shake the other one off to even things up... CONGRATS!!!!!!!! :tu:

Yea, i called a buddy and told him id bring it over and show him (the guy who got the first trail cam pics), and when i got their his dad, brother, my brother, his bro's freind..a whole posse of hunters were their to lay their eyes on it. I had to pry it away when i left. :busted:

About the other antler, when my buddy and his bro (aforementioned) saw him with 2 days left in archery season he was still carrying the antler that i found. So that means the big side has been in the woods almost 3 weeks if not longer. Thats the side we have been looking for.

    Nice job Simon.

I really think with all the knowledge you've gained on this 1 whitetail.. you have a real good shot of taking him this fall.

Good luck and keep at him.

Has Freak Nasty been spotted recently? Like even before sheddin'?

I wonder if he is still carrying his right side.

I know even after a couple of weeks, one of the bucks on a piece of property I hunt was still carrying his right side. I am thinking I may have found his left when I was sheddin' with Buckeye.

He had already shed his right antler before bow season even ended. He was seen with the side i found 3 days before. So his other side has been laying somewhere for awhile.

That picture of your buddy holding the left side of the shed you found this year really shows his size much better then the other pic of him laying on that table or whatever It was. Wow, he sure Is a stud by all means!!:hail:
